Sargun Mehta disappointingly quits Shashi-Sumeet Mittal Production's next for Sony TV!
The show, which is already making hypes in the town for replacing Sony TV’s Byaah Hamari Bahu Ka, a Hats off Productions show, is again in the headlines for actors quitting the show with disappointment. Some media reports also state that Sargun Mehta was playing the beauty while Rohit Khurana was roped in to play the beast but the current reports divulge that the channel is trying to recreate the Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin magic by bringing in a female lead who will not be a good-looker. So this only means that Sargun Mehta, who was to play the lead, will not fit the bill.
On being quizzed, Sargun said, “I am not doing the Shashi-Sumeet Productions show for Sony. I was part of the show from May 2012, but it got delayed. It was supposed to air in October. There were also some complications as certain changes were made to the script. Hence, we amicably agreed that I will not be a part of the project. I am disappointed to the extent that I lost some good projects in the meantime.”
